In an O.R., what better material to build from than stainless steel?

In an O.R., you must constantly be cleaning. Castor wheels help you keep the floor clean.

In an O.R, space is at a premium. If you must have a horizontal surface it must be flat and cleanable, and if it can double as a shelf . . . all the better.

In an O.R., you would not therefore specify a UPS system designed for an office because it would in all probability have:

• a plastic case (hard to clean without staining)
• a textured surface (holds dirt)
• short legs/feet (hard to move, collects dust beneath)
• louvered air vents (hard-to-clean, may allow entry of liquids - especially spray cleaners)
• high-velocity cooling fan (blows dust around)
• separate expansion battery pack (adds to difficulty moving)
