THE REASSURANCE
AN INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW
The first REASSURANCE models were introduced in 1990 in response to the need for a simple, cost-effective, emergency power supply for the emerging ASC market and it became possible following the development of high-power semiconductors.
The design objectives were to provide high-surge-starting capability for surgical suction pumps and high-inductive loads, like electrocautery units, sealed batteries (so that there were no fumes) with portable and aseptic casework. A compact, stainless steel, castor-based cabinet with a flat top was seen as the logical choice.
A family of products developed as varying needs were addressed. The REASSURANCE is now available in capacities of 2000, 2800, 3100 and 4000 watts with either modified sinewave or pure sinewave electronics. Integral battery banks from 140 to 838 amp-hours are available in a single unit. The systems are available as "plug and play" for both point-of-use and "semi-remote" serving two rooms, or fully integrated into building wiring.
Further, they have been designed for easy serviceability - well within the technical expertise of local technicians and electricians. Fully automatic operation is within everyone's ability.
The REASSURANCE is a line of cost-effective special-purpose UPS systems. They are specially designed for small- to medium-sized ambulatory surgery centers and laboratories. Features, such as its stainless steel case, castor wheels and accessory shelf system, make it especially easy to add to an existing suite without installation costs. Its robust, industrial-strength electronics and heavy-duty telecom-type batteries make it strong and reliable.
Featured on all models:
- Stainless steel cabinet
- 10' SJ 12/3 power cord with hospital-grade plug
- Hospital-grade outlets
- Audible battery voltage alarm
- Choice of pure-sinewave or modified-sinewave power generation
